i love the whole concept of this stage performance. it was great that they performed boy in luv then transitions to boy with luv - it showed how much these boys grew, which also shows in the contradiction of the two songs: one is hardcore then the other is soft. moreover, adding mikrocosmos to tell how they have created their own universe was amazing. and the fact that they had put computer graphics in the viewers' screen to really highlight that idea. it was very impressive how the members were able to showcase what they're good and known at through their solo performances: taehyung with his dance that suits his style, jin dancing on the horse head like stage (and i wished he could've also sung which would highlight more of his vocals), jimin dancing somewhat contemporary or modern ballet with a white cloth, suga looking darn fine surrounded by fire (also wished he could've rapped as though he was spitting fire like he usually does if they wanted to incorporate the fire concept), jungkook dancing on water (goodness gracious he didn't slip), jhope with his robotic some kind of electronic hiphop dance break which, and namjoon walking along the stage looking so confident which he has always been (we stan a true king) and leading the stage. it was also amazing how they played their famed songs in each solo performance and kind of applied a different mood and genre to these songs like how i need u turned into a soul piano version, save me somehow became a soul r&b type of music, and fake love was very electronic which went very well along jhope's dance break. and lastly, dionysus! the term itself is a greek mythological word which refers to the greek god of wine. as i have noticed, they have put that concept of "greece" in their performance by having someone play a big, loud instrument as a call and putting females wearing greek dresses who threw flowers for the opening. but i was bewildered to see cowboys (i don't know if they were but they looked like detectives too) and real live horses on stage. then it finally opened and the boys appeared sitting confidently on fancy chairs and long table. the people at the back caught my attention: they were holding a fan, some were doing something servants would do (not really sure but it kinda looked like those roman or greek servants). then i have come to a conclusion that: BTS HAS MADE AN EMPIRE. it clearly shows, like really. they owned the stage, owned everything. i thought the song would end just with dionysus, yet i was wrong. they put another epic dance break near the end and it was freaking amazing. each member was given the spotlight and in fact, they were dancing on the table. i also love how they kinda remixed their songs like no more dream as though they're trying to tell how their past played such a big role in their lives that brought them to what they are now. also, i would like to commend the back up dancers, they were amazing back there as if they werew merely back ups but sole parts of the performance. *it was, again and indeed, a magnificent and phenomenal performance from BTS.* best boys ever.
